Terms and Conditions
Due to the increasing restrictions and costs on the transportation of hazardous goods, we are adding a Dangerous goods delivery surcharge to paint orders.
Ordering Policy
1. Delivery times apply to all items in stock, and subsequently all orders.
2. All deliveries require a signature from our courier.
3. All deliveries unless otherwise stated will be made to your door. We however are not responsible for any additional lifting or movement of your goods.
4. Deliveries will normally occur between 7am and 6pm on working days.
5. Our working days are classed as Monday to Friday and exclude Bank Holidays.
6. Orders taken before 13:00 pm GMT on a working day will be processed and sent out for delivery.
7. Any orders taken after 13:00 GMT on a working day will be processed the following working day.
8. If you wish to confirm or enquire about your order and it’s delivery date please contact our Mail Order team via phone on +44 (0)2380 407600.
9. Any orders made that exceed our weight limit for courier delivery (40 kg), we will contact you to arrange delivery of these items.
Returns Policy
Returning a faulty or damaged item
1. Firstly please notify our Mail Order department within 28 days of receipt of the item. To notify the mail order department you need to ring them on +44 (0)2380 407600, they can then authorise the return. Aladdins Cave Mail Order department will advise the either:
a. A convenient time for a pick up/exchange of the faulty or damaged product.
b. Whether you need to return the product via Recorded delivery
c. Whether you need to return the product via Special delivery
2. Please ensure the item is wrapped securely, include a copy of any paper work you received (either from E-mail or anything sent with your order), and ensure there is a short note from you explaining the reason for return.
3. Please return any faulty or damaged items to the following address:

Returning an unwanted item
Please ring our mail order department to confirm that the item is unwanted and that you will be returning the item.
You may return an unopened item within 14 days of receiving it, for a full refund. We will refund your card as soon as we receive and process the item (please allow for another 14 days).
We will only refund delivery costs if the return is a result of our error.
We would recommend that you send an item via recorded deliver or special delivery.
Product Testing
When item/s are returned to us it is company policy that all goods are now checked by the mail order department, and to be signed as a genuine fault before replacements and refunds are given
If the occasion should arise and there is doubt regarding the returned item/s or if the item is under a manufacturers warranty, then the customer will be notified that the item will be sent back to the supplier for their inspection and no replacement or refund will be given until the authorisation has been received from the supplier.
